Perfectub is quite simply the perfect alcove bathtub. To maximize the space available in a standard 60-inch alcove, we narrowed the side walls, added an “toe-kick” undercut, removed the sloping sides and curved bottom normally found in standard tubs. The result is a perfect bathtub and a safer way to bathe and shower. The undercut acts as a splash guard pushing water back into the tub. Great when bathing dogs and children. The trim back wall creates a smooth transition from tile to tub, for a sleek modern aesthetic. A linear overflow lets you fill a fuller tub and enjoy a deeper soak. The narrower tub walls and flat bottom add approximately 30 % more water volume for your deep soaking experience, or an ice bath. Every tub comes with a complete linear overflow installation kit with the drain and matching white matte drain cap. The toe-kick ‘undercut’ on the Perfectub was designed to assist the user to exit and enter the tub while retaining their center of gravity, without the need to lean out from the center of the tub or falling forward. Perfectub is the best alternative to a walk-in tub. The flat bottom is 26” wide and easily accommodate a bath or handicap chair. The tub is manufactured to the highest standards using acrylic, fiberglass and hand-crafting; portions are quality controlled. If the bathroom floor is completely level, you may be able to complete the installation without mud or cement; the bottom is solid and sturdy and weighs approximately 100 pounds.
