Take extra precautions when buying slat beds for children. The beds must not have sharp angles to avoid injury. A frolicking child jumps a lot so always go for a bed that is extra sturdy.

Since a slat bed is very cost effective it in turn allows you to spend more on a good mattress – eventually providing you with a great sleeping experience. At the end of the day, two things are essential to get a good night’s sleep: comfort and support. A good mattress satisfies both these needs. If a mattress doesn't provide a good night's sleep, it is probably time for a new one.
