Magnussen Home

In 1931 in Kitchener, ON, the Great Depression had taken hold and given flight to many innovative entrepreneurs. Ingwer Magnussen was one of them. A cabinet-maker by trade, he created Magnussen Furniture by making wood sofa frames for upholstery manufacturers. In 1970, his son Richard joined the family company and helped expand into the occasional table line of furniture. This turned into a wondrous success, and just over twenty-five years later Richard Magnussen decided to branch out to the United States market with the new Presidential Furniture brand. In 2002, the company rebranded to create Magnussen Home with the design concept that all furniture should reflect the homeowner’s lifestyle. Magnussen Home continues to create wonderful furniture for today’s homeowner.

Magnussen Home Dressers

Magnussen Home has a dresser for virtually any design style. Whether it’s a traditional dresser with a twist of old-world Europe or something on the tropical side with carved sugar canes, you’re going to love what a Magnussen dresser can do for your room.

The antique lover will love Magnussen Home's nod to old-school tradition with intricately carved dresser details framing the base as well the drawers. The seaside cottage fan will adore a Magnussen dresser with beadboard drawer fronts and an antique twist in both coloring and style. Even a fan retro style will find a Magnussen dresser that gives a nod to the 1960s era. The textured look of alternating recessed dresser drawer fronts creates a splash of intrigue to an otherwise simplistic Magnussen Home design.

Choose between a six drawer double Magnussen dresser, a tall chest dresser or up to as many as twelve drawers in the triple dresser. There’s enough storage inside a Magnussen dresser to meet nearly any-sized apparel need. With the added bonus of choosing a mirrored dresser set, you can complete the designer look you’ve been longing for without the hassle of shopping around. Your Magnussen dresser can even be a drawer and cabinet door combination to provide a shelf for easy-access to a neat stack of sweaters.

You think you’ve found the perfect style but what about the finish? Magnussen Home has finishes that range from the deep colors of black and espresso, to the mid-tones of cherry, toffee and coffee. Or go for a lighter look with the crisp look of white. Show off your decorating personality with dual tone cognac brown and black or cherry and umber dresser to make a royal statement.
