Four of our five kids have left home and the last one will be gone in a year. We got tired of having a big table that we had to
keep covered and treat kindly. So we bought this table. It assembled very easily. The tile surface looks just like when we bought it 6 months ago, with no special care.
The table is a bit smaller than I imagined, even after measuring. It's pictured with four chairs, but if you try to serve four there will be no room for food. You'll have to work buffet style. Three is cozy. It's ideal for two.
We liked it well enough that when our college graduate moved back in and his brother came home for a month we bought another and set them side by side rather than putting up a card table for the summer. Together they serve six comfortably. When all the kids are gone, we'll use the extra one for a project table or remove the legs and shove it under a bed.
