      We wanted something safe for our toddler's first bed. But, of course, we like to get a good deal. After an extensive search on-line this was the best price for the product. We have it on a metal frame with his mattress on top so it's not high off the floor. It's sturdy, sometimes my husband, my son and I are all on it reading books at night. The only problem we've had is that the metal stands from his safety guard rail pressed into the bunky board and made some indentations. We had to put some cardboard between the metal and the bunky board. Otherwise I recommend. It came quickly and was packaged well--no damage.

      We ordered a bunkie board to go under my 5-yr-old's full-size mattress because her original box spring was just too tall -- she couldn't get into bed without a stepstool. The bunkie board, as it turns out, is not one board, but two pieces, each 1/2 of full size. So, put them together and you have a full-size bunkie board. It basically works, just not as sturdy as I imagined, since it is 2 pieces.Also, it is made of small wooden planks that are covered with a corregated cardboard type of material to add cushioning, and then covered with cloth. [...] You could not really see it because it is covered by cloth, but there is a hole large enough for my entire hand to go in.I did not want to go through another 2 or 3 week waiting period for a replacement, so I used it as-is, and it is working OK. It gets the job done.

        I looked around a lot before finding this and I couldn't be happier with my choice. It's exactly what I hoped for. Thin profile and gray fabric blend right in on my child's daybed, barely noticeable. But support feels firm, and prefer this very much over the slat roll boards I first considered. Delivery couldn't have been any easier. FedEx left it on my porch while I was at work (it was well-packaged in plastic, so no concerns about weather). The twin size came in one piece and was lightweight and easy to handle. The price was great; I doubt I could have made anything myself for this price.
