We bought this unit to put behind our sofa that now sits in the middle of our room. It is the perfect size for this. It took us a long time to find a table that is this long, this thin, with this much storage. It is for our family room.

It was easy to assemble. The only frustrating part of the assembly was the particle board for the back. It is in three pieces. Luckily my husband came home when I got to that part, so I let him deal with it. I'm 8 months pregnant and was able to assemble it with no problems.

I would definitely recommend this to someone looking for a table of this size and wanting storage. We also did not have any issues buying it from this site. Would definitely order from this site again.

I bought this storage shelf to hold things that didn't have a "home" before such as craft items, various cords, loose photos. The shelf looks so nice that you can't tell it's filled with my "junk".

I bought this for my office. I already had a desk and file cabinet that I had purchased a few years ago, and I was looking for a bookcase to match. I came across this and I thought the color was great and purchased it. I love the way it looks in the room, but as far as using it for storage---not good. The baskets are to small for standard paper and the shelfs are a little flimsy. I think that if books were stored for any length of time the shelf would warp under the weight. I found it slightly difficult to put together(picture directions only). Overall, I am happy with the purchase--I think it depends on what you are using it for.

I bought this to replace my dresser, I had been wanting a shelf with baskets as opposed to a dresser with drawers but many of the ones I looked at were very expensive. I purchased 2 of these to add storage in my kitchen. They work well and look very nice. However, even after putting the first one together, it still took several hours for 2 of us to put the 2nd one together. I cannot remember the last time we had so much difficulty putting something together. In the directions, at one point it says to find a 2nd person - which could be a problem for someone who lives alone. This should be indicated in the information before people purchase it. Because of these issues I would not be able to recommend it to a friend even though now that they are put together, I am very happy with them.
