Looks nice but very fragile

I assembled using the provided wrench. 3 of the 4 legs never tightened. The threaded inserts started coming out of the legs before they got tight. On the first leg I pulled the inserts almost completely out before I noticed the problem. 1 of the 4 legs seemed to tighten just fine. It almost seems as though 3 of the leg didnt have glue on the inserts. I have re-inforce it with additions screws and wood blocks. I don't think I will be taking a chance on this brand again. Unfortunate as it is a nice looking piece.

The assembly was going well, except for the failure of the surface wood on one of the legs. The receivers installed in the legs are slightly conical, with threads. The holes in the legs are cylindrical. This is a bad design, since only the outermost threads are contacting the wood (basically one circuit). The failure occurred at very low torque on the bolts (before the lockwasher had started to compress).

After a long stint of repairing the leg and changing the hole shape to be conical, I was able to re-install the receivers and carefully attach the 4th leg.
