The desk is a perfect size for any small bedroom or college dorm. The sturdy real wood construction was easy to assemble. My son loves the smaller drawers on top.

I love everything about the desk except that when we were tightening one of the bolts, it pulled the part that holds it into the leg right out. It was only one of the legs. it's the perfect size for my computer (although it wouldn't work well if you didn't have a flat screen) and fits beautifully between my bed and the wall where a full sized desk would not.

I purchased the desk for my 9 year old son's room. He helped me assemble it and was very proud of himself. He really enjoys having his own desk and it is a very good size for his bedroom.

This is the desk we wanted for our kids: small "footprint", attractive exterior, reasonable price and the RIGHT height. We have kids, not toddlers and not teenagers. This desk works for them. Huzzah! A place for homework and art projects. We bought two, to eliminate fighting for space. They fit side-by-side, and don't extend out from the wall too much.The drawbacks:As with much "prefab" furniture, some of the pre-drilled holes don't line up as nicely as they should. It still went together easily, though. The biggest "whoops" is the way the 2 small drawers in the hutch section operate or, more accurately, don't. The long desk drawer is fine, and the hutch drawers are used by us mostly for knickknacks. If this is critical to your purchase, though, I wouldn't buy it. They're always off their drawer guides when opened, and stick.I refused to pay [$] for a child's, and I got two for less than that. I'm happy.
