We received the package over the holidays. The box appeared really beat up. When we opened the box, there were no instructions. I enlarged the picture from the internet and we assembled the unit from the picture. It was difficult. There were a few scratches and blemishes in the wood, but not enough to return the product. The colour matches our kitchen set perfectly. We love it.

Great addition to our dining area! Looks very attractive. Holds 24 bottles of wine as well as cocktail plates for hor dourv'es in upper cabinet. Not too deep or too wide, perfect for our space. Looked at other reviews that said wood was darker than picure and it certainly is a true expresso look, exactly what I wanted, Awesome!

It's darker than pictured, which is what I was counting on since it's described as espresso. Assembly wasn't too difficult, except for the sides, which were somewhat tricky to install. As the instructions say, it definitely is a two person job. It took about an hour for us to assemble and it looks great. It fits the small space in our dining area off the kitchen just perfectly and coordinates well w/ the espresso dining table already in the room.

Beautiful piece that is both functional and great to look at. It holds A LOT of wine glasse and is sturdy, though the slide open drawer on top wiggles a little when opened. (Certainly not an issue). It took my husband a half hour to assemble. It also looks like a much more expensive piece. The one thing I do want to mention is that the picture doesn't really accurately depict the actual color. It's VERY dark - almost black in its finish. I know that is important to some purhasers who are trying to match existing pieces in their home. We are very pleased with this purchase.

Assembly was not too difficult, but it could have been better. More information on the instructions would be helpful. Some details were not clearly identified and by the time we realized the process was too far along and we had to get creative. You can't tell now, though. I think clearer instructions would make this product perfect.

I have a little area between my living room and kitchen that I can use as a bar area. I bought this product on Cymax because the price was real good, size seemed perfect, and it looked great. Only problem is that it is quite difficult to assemble. The parts dont seem to fit together well. The holes for the screws to be placed in were hardly seen and it was hard to put the whole thing together. The part that really didn't make sense was the part to put the wine racks. It looks nice from far, but if you look close you might see gaps where the screws were put in to put the pieces together.

Overall we like the unit very much.

The sliding top is a bit awkward to move inasmuch as the blocking within the metal guides do not keep it parallel with the sides of the butler. Also the guides are white and distracting. I painted themblack and now they are virtually unnoticebale.

Not bad product but some of the holes didn't line up so i had to drill them to elongate so it lined up. It was frustrating putting together but it looks nice and holds more wine glasses than i thought it would.

The product is great and assembly was easier than other things I've had to put together. The only problem was that it came with a two inch crack in the front panel of the top portion. It's too big to return, so I made due with what I had.
