This is a wonderful bookcase if you're looking for something that will store a lot of things and look good doing it! The depth of the shelves is terrific. It comes with the only tool you need to assemble it and, though it can take 30 mins to an hour to assemble, it is a simple process. I'm a musician and this bookcase can hold my stereo, boxes and boxes of sheet music, and still have room left over for books. So glad I bought this.
