Screws pulled out of wood while I was putting this nightstand together. I had to super glue screws for drawer rails to top of nightstand. Because of this problem while putting nightstand together the drawer will not open now.

Needed a black nightstand to complete the remodel of my 15 yr old sons bedroom. Needed simple because he went contemporary. Like the drawer as it can "hide" some of his things and the bottom shelf is great for all of his phone/ipad etc chargers. Very easy to assemble. I changed out the drawer handle to brushed nickel so it matched his dresser and metal/glass desk. Everything ties in together perfectly.

As expected for tables of this price, there were some minor flaws in the finish. In my case, they were on a couple of the legs. Since the legs are interchangeable and I had purchased two tables, I was able to put the flaws on the wall side of the tables - out of view. One of the tables went together smoothly. I used the basic process of putting it together, leaving the bolts a little loose. That way there is some slack to overcome the tolerances allowed in the actual positioning of the holes. After all the pieces are together, I go back an tighten the bolts, being careful not to strip the holes in the particle board. Once assembled and tightened, the table was very stable.

The second table had one of the holes drilled twice, creating an oblong hole. Unfortunately, the hole was too big for the particle board screw and it would not hold. So, I put some quick-setting epoxy putty in the oblong hole and then carefully put in the particle-board screw and let it set.

The overall fit of the tables is consistent with the price. The drawer on one has some interference that precludes a smooth closure. The other drawer works well. Note that these drawers are not fancy and just use wooden slides.

As these end tables are for a guest bedroom, they will not get a lot of use. So, the minor flaws will not be an everyday annoyance.

They might be considered a little short as bedside tables, especially for a bed with a full height box springs.

I bought this nightstand for my 20 year old son. He put it together with no problem and it looks nice with the rest of his bedroom furniture.

Assembly was very easy with the instructions. Only complaint is the drawer stop. Assembly instructions were not really clear on how to assemble. Still have not figured it out!
Good value for the cost.
