Sauder Harbor View Corner TV Stand in Antiqued Paint
- Shopper in
The way our living room is laid out, the only place for us to situate our TV is in the corner. I ordered this piece from Cymax a
nd received it a few days later. Cymax had the best price I could find. Fedex dropped it off at my garage door. When I retrieved it, I found out it is heavy. I couldn't lift it by myself or with the help of my teenage daughter. We unboxed it in the garage and carried the pieces into the house a few at a time.
Assembly was straightforward. The manual is easy to follow. It is definitely not hard to assemble, but it is time consuming. There are a lot of parts and it took my daughter and I about four hours.
There was one small wooden part that was cracked in the box. It was cracked in such a way that I was able to use some wood glue to repair it and no one will ever be the wiser. The repair is invisible.
After we finished the assembly, I had to adjust the drawers for a proper fit. Instructions for adjusting the height of the drawers are not in the manual which is probably why some of the other reviewers complain about the drawer fit. To adjust the drawers, you have to pull them out slightly and turn the big phillips head cam to move the runner up or down. Loosen the runners a little before making the adjustment.
If you don't mind the lengthy assembly time and babying sore muscles for a couple of days because of the weight, I recommend the unit. It looks beautiful when it's done and set in place.

Z-Line Sync Flat Panel Black TV stand with Integrated Mount
- Shopper in
Long Beach, NY
I am using this to display a 65" Samsung 65LN650B LCD that weighs 100 pounds. The unit is very solid and sturdy. Much more sol
id then other brands I have looked at. Easily holds my large panel without wobbles. The con that I listed about being heavy, is really not a con, it needs that weight to safely hold the heavy panel. I am using Miracle Mover felt pads under the leveling legs so I can slide it around on my hard wood floor. Without that, it would be almost impossible to move once it's all loaded up, as it then weighs in at close to 300 pounds. The holes for routing wires are well placed and allow you to run cables so all the AV equipment appears to be floating alone on the nice thick glass shelves. The assembly instructions are very well written, some of the best I have seen. That being said, the assembly is involved and it took me about 3 hours to put together. I have assembled a lot of flat packed things, and this was a very solid build. It looks better in real life then it does in the pictures. After I put it together, and put my AV receiver and other equipment on it without the TV, [...] I called my wife in and all she could say was wow, wow, wow over and over again.
