I recently purchased a pair of VTI Speaker Stands( UF series ) for my new high-end speakers. I am very happy with the VTI stands. Most of the other speaker stands I saw online were fairly plain. These VTI stands are very attractive, with a nice contemporary look. I was told that speaker stands in general would optimize the sound quality of music, and these VTI's did not let me down. My new high-end speakers ( Bowers and Wilkins CM 5's ) sound incredible. I chose not to fill the poles with sand or other fillers, and I am very happy with the sound quality. The wire management design is nice, and easy to figure out. I do agree with other reviews in regard to the color of the stands. They are marketed as silver stands, but a better description would be a light-grey mettalic cast-iron stand. Although the color is slightly different from the silver stands I expected, I really love the new stands. They look really sharp, compliment my new speakers, and are a nice addition to my living room.

STurdy product and the price is right. [...] they were more Grey than silverThe bottom plates are quite heavy SOLID , Top plates are sturdy too. If you want to get a good pair of stands on a beer budget then go for this one P.S I filled mine with playing marbles instead of sand. (Half way)

Stands are adequate for the job but not outstanding in workmanship, only average in appearance, but the worst part was removing all the greasy fingerprints from the base and columns which required liberal application of degreaser with a towel and alot of buffing. Stands benefit from filling with shot or sand. The top plate is fairly large and is partially exposed with small speakers.

Great straight forward designed loudspeaker stands. Simple clean lines and the spikes are adjustable. All you need to supply is a Phillips screwdriver and about 10 min to fully setup the stands. The only complaint I had was the somewhat tacky VTI emblem on the front of the stands. But a simple solution is to twist the nameplate and it will separate from the stand. A little cleaner and nobody is none the wiser it ever existed. Wire management is simple enough its a hole in the rear tube that runs out the bottom of the stand, great design but it might not work so well if you get that super thick speaker cable. I am running 10 gauge beldon 5000 w/o any problems. If your looking for a minimalist design that is sturdy and also fillable with sand/shot take a hard look at this stand.
