              I purchased these speaker stands for Klipsch RB-61 speakers. The initial setup was very easy. I did, however, custom fit nylon washers into the ends of the poles to prevent sand from escaping because I didn't feel comfortable using the supplied thin washers. As mentioned, the stands were filled with sand and bb's to provide a solid base for the speakers. I used the included double sided sticky feet to secure the speakers to the stands as there is no provision on the speakers or the stands to secure with screws. I did not not use the cable channels as they are only suited for unterminated basic speaker wire. The stability, appearance, sound and price of these excellent stands make them a very good buy.

              Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
