Purchased as a sewing/craft supply area. Be careful assembling this heavy thing as not to split the pressed wood like we did. Thankfully it was on the backside and was able to do some thick gluing to save the panel. Speaking of glue - make sure you have elmers on hand - what comes with it is no where near enough - and dont be afraid of using a little extra - especially on drawers - it will dry clear! Takes some time to put together but the end result was worth it. Make sure to allow all glued parts to dry over night to be safe. I wouldn't suggest the whole moving it around thing - find your location and leave it. I have it set up in my home office with both sides up. Looks really nice but be gentle in using it too. Pressed board drawer tracks... dont want to mess those up. I also did a little self stick drawer liner in the drawers to match kitchen lined drawers that are right around the corner =)For the price - it works!!! Keep kids away from it for lasting nice look.

I use it as a sewing center. I purchased metal drawer handles - they look 100% better than the plastic ones provided. Assembling the piece took several hours but I was able to make it more solid than it might have been if pre-assembled from the factory. The cabinet is very heavy and solid. The black cabinet looks sleek with the pewter handles I bought.

I use this product as a sewing/crafting station. I am a seamstress/crafter working in a limited space. The "fold up/out" features allow me to spread out as necessary but I can easily and quickly fold up my materials and store everything in a closet or roll everything to another location. The drawers are excellent for storing tools, bead findings, thread, etc..
