The only cabinet I have found with the design of a lift-top section for CDs. I would have preferred a higher-quality piece of furniture but custom-made seemed to be the only option and that is too expensive.

Purchased one of these four months ago. Had to get another to match. The top locking storage comes in handy. I would recommend it to anyone. A lot better then stacking bookshelves on top of one another.

We purchased this unit for our 200+ DVD collection and our growing Blu-ray collection. It fits everything perfectly, with room for many more! In fact, we're using a few of the top sections for our dog leashes, treats, etc.

The set-up, as described in other reviews, took the entire day, but not as difficult as others made it sound. It's simply tedious work. Follow the directions exactly for EVERYTHING, except the backing. I followed other suggestions and waited to put the backing on last (unlike the manual, which suggests putting it on in the middle of set-up)...glad I did, otherwise some parts would have been extremely difficult and frustrating to put on.

It's nice to not have another piece of bulky furniture and the price was perfect. We searched about 15 furniture stores for an enclosed DVD case and NONE carried them...only entertainment centers. Larger DVD sets (i.e. TV series, box sets) are difficult to house in this unit though. We had to separate them into their individual cases because the doors wouldn't close.

It took my wife and I about 3 hours to assemble, I expected better materials and not pressed board for the price, but overall its a good product.

I was looking for DVD/CD storage and I didn't want to spend a lot of money. This cabinet is exactly what I was looking for! It looks great (Cherry finish)and seems to be fairly durable. The cabinet holds all of our DVDs, CDs and my daughter's Video Games with room for our collections to grow. For the price, I don't think this cabinet can be beat! It takes awhile to put this cabinet together but the instructions are clear making it easy to assemble.

It actually held more than I thought from reading the other reviews. I have over 400 DVDs in cases and they all fit with plenty of space left over.

The instructions where a little confusing. Especially when trying to determine which screw to use on the cabinets. I also agree with another comment to wait until the end to put the back on. The item is definitely worth the price just be extra careful in putting it together.

It took me just around 3 hours to completely assemble by myself. But you will need some help to hold some pieces in place.

The product is a good product. It was not hard to put together it just takes time. The only thing I did not like about it is the compressed wood. If you messed up on the screws and the holes become to large for the screws you have to make adjustments. This is a beautiful cabinet but it should be made out of real wood. It will be more durable then. I suggest to anyone who purchases this in the future is to use some kind of durable glue for all the pieces it will make the cabinet stronger in the long run if you move it.

I am 58yrs old but I like putting things together also the door hangers do not work the fall off. and it does not hold all that is says, about half of them.

Overall I am pleased with product so far. I think for the price and mateerial product was made of it is a nice design and gives an overall nice appearance.
