Different Kinds of Small Kitchen Carts

These carts are highly functional, durable, and are designed to get heavy jobs done. They can support a lot of weight, and usually have one or two shelves as well as the top surface to carry the items of your choice. Wheels make transporting heavy items in the kitchen a breeze. Other manufacturers consider smaller carts like serving carts to be utility carts, and many customers use these carts to hold appliances like microwave ovens, food processors and more.


Microwave Carts


A microwave cart is designed to be a small extension of your counter space. The small footprint of a microwave cart means that they can fit in the smallest of places. Althoughs these carts have wheels or casters, this is mainly for ease of cleaning underneath the unit.


Kitchen Serving Carts


A serving Cart is designed to move food from one room to another; these carts are sometimes referred to as a kitchen utility cart. The main purpose of these carts is to wheel appetizers into the living room, or as a small handy home bar with a few glasses, drink mixes and bottles. Wine Carts are also available.
