Riverside Furniture Company
Riverside Furniture Company started post-WWII when Herman Udouj began creating baby beds and wood wagons for children from the confines of his homestead barn. In 1946, Riverside Furniture Company was born by expanding into bunk beds and occasional furniture. A short fourteen years later saw the partnership of Riverside with ABC (Arkansas Best Company) investment group. This partnership proved quite profitable, but by 1989 things started to get out of hand with a new investment group that purchased Riverside from ABC. Just over ten years later, two former employees bought the company and re-privatized it to create a more comfortable environment for employees.
Today, Riverside Furniture Company is well-known for its heirloom quality furniture that increases in value over time. This furniture is produced from cabinet-making hardwoods and hand-chosen veneers combined with durable MDF and particle board construction, which is used for protection against today’s changing home environment factors.
