Comments about Tech Craft Tech-Craft Veneto 60" Hi-Boy Walnut Wood LCD/Plasma TV Stand:

This is an expensive-looking TV stand at a very reasonable price. I use it to store my Wii, Blu-Ray player, Roku, and other components to keep them out of the way and from looking cluttered.

The box arrived with some damage, but the individual components were packed very well and had no damage. Each piece was marked very clearly for assembly.

The product was fairly easy to assemble, although the directions were mostly pictures and very few words, so you sometimes had to guess what they were referring to. I am a single female with limited experience putting things together, and I got it done in about 3 hours. Having 2 people would definitely make things easier!

Some tips:
- You will need a flat-head screwdriver and a hammer or mallet. An electric screwdriver helps.
- Keep the cardboard and styrofoam that the item came in! You can use the cardboard box to protect the wood while you're putting it together, and you can use the styrofoam as a cushion to kneel on.
- The hardware comes in 2 flat packages, separated by type into individual compartments. I separated each compartment by cutting them out before I opened them. Otherwise, if you open the package to get to one type of hardware, you won't be able to get to the other types of hardware without spilling what's already open. (This will make more sense when you see it in front of you.)
- Take the time to make sure that the directions (which have very few words) make complete sense.
- Be sure to assemble the product with the finished sides all facing the same way. The directions don't mention this, but you don't want the unfinished side of a part to show where it's supposed to be finished.

Overall, this is a great product, and I'm VERY happy with my purchase! I would have given it 5 stars if the directions had been better.

The TV stand was shipped quickly and we got it without a scratch on it. It was easy to put together. It really looks very nice in our living room. The pieces that you see on the outside are a beautiful wood grain, while the pieces on the inside are particle board, but you really don't see them. All of our components fit and that includes: a DVR, a blu-ray disc player, DVD player and a VHS player. We would definitely shop with Cymax again.

We bought this for our 55" flat screen and it works beautifully. It is a little longer than it needs to be but still looks good. My only complaint is that the top piece was damaged on the corner upon receipt. I chose not to pursue a replacement due to the experiences previously mentioned in reviews. It is only noticable up close. The stand looks very nice and holds several components. Great deal!

I wish this manufacturer designed more types of furniture rather than mostly electronics related. The hardware is top of the line. The hinges adjust to insure that the doors are flush and level with the main unit. I believe that the top is a solid piece of wood or a heavy composite with the look and feel of wood.

I am a visual person and was very skeptical about purchasing anything online (more less a 125 lb tv console), but read all the reviews and decided to go for it. BOY, I am so glad I did, I am very very happy with the tv console. Best part is it matches perfect with all my other espresso furniture in my living/kitchen area. I bought this TV Stand to hold my Samsung PN63-C8000 (63" Plasma) I also got it because it will hold my Receiver, Cable Box, 3D-BD Player, Wii Gaming Console, Center Channel Speaker, & 200+ DVD's. I bought this particular model after looking for a week at everything locally & then online too. This unit was very stylish, functional & had the makings of the perfect piece of furniture. So now that I have it in my house it fits ALL of our needs & then some. The construction quality of this unit is better than expected except it doesn't have vented shelving to remove the heat from the electrical components. I will be creating this myself. The other aspect I would like to have had was magnetic rear electrical panel to install the wiring of the components. So minus those 2 items I LOVE IT! :o)

I am very pleased with the appearance and the fact that it can hold all of the components that we have. I was not able to find anything else that would, be reasonably priced and have the wood look that I really liked. It is a good height for our new tv.
You should read the assembly instructions before hand because it is mostly fiber board and can be damaged during assembly if your not careful. Definately can't be moving it around with everything on it.
