Very nice piece of furniture. Rec'd it with a large crack all the way across the wood piece on one of the shelves. Didnt' want to go thru the trouble of sending it back..Put that piece on the bottom where the door is. Can't see it when the door is closed but can when its open. Gave it 3 stars because of the crack.

We needed a unit to house a sound system that was specific in size and had enough shelves for all. It also needed to look attractive enough to blend with an existing cherry entertainment center. This worked like a charm. All components fit although a little more shelf adjustment would have been nice. The turntable went on top. I would have liked it to be one shelf taller for that, but nothing is perfect ! It's very sturdy and fit together great with little time needed. We placed a small fan behind it to cool the tube system and it all works. Let's hear it for compromise and class!!!

Nice piece. Very attractive. The size is perfect for our area. Part 3 was broken. [...] Part 2 has a hairline crack and a small indent. Didn't feel like ordering a new part. The door swings in too far. Not sure if we assembled incorrectly. I think the piece should cost around [$] instead of almost [$].

Nice product and decent value for the money when compared to like items online and in retail stores. Looks very nice when assembled, and a nice compliment to my bedroom. Is fairly flexible to accomodate different storage needs. Stores all my audio/video gear with plenty of room for TV on top. Although is mostly veneered particle board, is a sturdy construction that looks very much like solid wood when assembled. Finish is a dark walnut.

Took several weeks to obtain replacement shelf. Still have to remove everything from the unit to replace, reinstall shelf and complete assembley. Holds lots of DVDs, games. Attractive.

The stand has a very good height and does not take up a lot of space in my bedroom. Since my bed is pretty high it allows me to watch my TV comfortably. I like the color, smooth finish and look of the stand.The stand is made of compressed wood so had to be very careful when assembling it together. [...] Getting replacements can be a challenge.

It matches my HD TV stand perfectly (also Tech-Craft). I can fit my receiver, CD tray, double cassette player and even the old turntable in it. Easy enough to put together, but make sure you don't lose any of the hardware (there isn't any extra). Be very careful with the wood when assembling--it scratches easily. The marketing literature left some ambiguity as to the number of glass doors. As it turns out, it only comes with one, which to me looks a little asymmetrical. Also, it would be better with 12-18" legs to get it higher off the floor (it's tough to reach the bottom shelf with a bad back).

All in all, it's an excellent buy. You can find better, but you'll spend considerably more money. After extensive internet research, this series seems to be the best value in its price range.
