      This entertainment center holds all of my AV eqpt although the open shelf is 1/8" too short for my receiver. Be sure to measure before purchase. I was able to install receiver through the back prior to installing the back panel. There is not really a great place to store CD's/DVD/Blueray discs as access would be difficult due to depth. The unit looks nice but the black tends to show dust.
      I would purchase this unit again and wish I could buy a media rack that would match the furniture style.

          If you have a PS3- you know that it cannot be placed in a closed enclosure cause of FAN NOISE. In this cabinet you can put it in the open area below the TV. A small PC fan in the back blasting air out and I have very little fan noise as the PS3 stays cool.

                We use this stand to hold our stereo and game console components, plus DVDs, etc. There is plenty of room in the compartments for us. It's nice having two areas behind the glass doors for DVDs, and another area without doors for the components so they don't overheat. Stand is very sturdy, but we don't have our TV on top of it (we wall mounted the TV above the stand to give us more room on top for photos, knick-knacks, etc.).

                The black color does collect and show dust quickly, so if you like a clean look, you'll probably have to dust fairly often. Also, I wish the holes in the back panels for the wires were each about 3 inches lower to hide the wires more behind the components.

                It's not solid wood, but you don't expect that in this price range. Overall, we're very happy with the purchase and can highly recommend this stand as a good buy for the money.
