    Classy piece of furniture for your TV

    Very nice piece. Went together well and fairly easily. Any issues anyone has with assembly are probably because they didn't take enough time to understand the directions before starting. My only issue is with the doors. The instructions don't tell you to take the hinges apart and put the piece that fastens to the vertical piece first, and then put the other half of the hing on the door. I did this and it made installing the doors much easier. Getting the allignment for the doors correct will take some time whether you install the hinges as I did or as the instructions say to. I wish the center door had a second (decorative) door pull on it (opposite side of the real one)to make the cabinet look symetrical. Also, a glass insert option along with the grill cloth for the center door would be nice to have. Due to the size of the framing for the grill cloth, my center channel speaker was blocked, so I decided to remove the center door. I had an issue with the door anyhow because the hinge side of the door would hit the edge of the door next to it and the pull side of the center door had a gap between it and the other door next to it. To fix this I installed a spacer to move the door over about 3/16". This fixed it, but as I already said, due to blockage with the center speaker, I decided to remove the door and the cabinet still looks great. Also, be sure to make sure your center speaker fits in the cabinet before buying it.

    Overall, I feel the cabinet is a great value and a good looking piece. Is it perfect? No. I needed a certain size and the ability to handle many pieces of AV equipment and for the money this cabinet works great. If I spent $1,000 I would likely have similar issues. The only other cabinet I would recomend would be to build one yourself.

    I ordered a Tech Craft entertainment stand [...] My issue is with the condition of the stand. It seems to bevery poorly manufactured. The damage on the pieces do not appear to be from shipping, but just poor quality in general. There were nicksand scratches all over this unit. The stand is black, but you can see exposed wood from the nicks all over the place. These are not on thecorners either as if it was damaged during the shipping process. These gashes are in middle spots that were not exposed duringshipping. Basically the case was damaged and gouged going into the box at the factory or possible just made poorly. Seems to be a lack of quality control at Tech Craft. Very disappointed for nearly $400 in cost.

    This is a very nice piece. It was fairly easy to put together; but it does help to have a little experience building this type of furniture. The directions were good.

    Good overall design
    Holds all my A/V components while allowing them to be controlled by the IR remotes
    If I had any wishes it would be to have interchangeable panels included that would allow me to change between either glass, screen, or a solid panel for the three doors on the front.

      Product arrived in three days from online order. Was well packed so there was no damage, though the shipping box was not so lucky! Takes a little time to put together, but is not difficult. The doors may need to be adjusted more than once to get the exact fit you want. It is a nice piece of living room furniture.

        Holds the 60" Plasma TV and looks good doing it.
        The bottom shelf was broken when I received it and was replaced with in a couple of days.
        The only problem I have had is my Satellite receiver over heated because there was not enough ventilation. Cut the back behind the receiver up to the top so heat could get out.

            Convinced by my wife to make this purchase. It replaces the TV stand that I bought which was pitiful for neat cabling. This credenza was easy to assemble (doors are a bit tricky to align). No glass and smooth corners so grand-babies can't hurt themselves. Looks great with a 52" wide screen LCD. Holds all components with room to spare, no cables in view. Remotes work thru closed doors. I would recommend to family/friends and would buy it again.

                    Great product. Needed to get a tv console with doors to prevent toddler from gaining access. Love this product. [...] Just absolutely love the console as it is stylish with durability. Held all compartments in doors (which the toddler found out how to open by the way) Just have to install magnetic locks.
