    I love this piece of furniture, however there are a few flaws. I gave it 4 stars because my expectations can't be too high with such a low priced piece of furniture. I was able to see this product put together in a local store so I was aware of things to be careful of... Mainly being the cabinets! The display's cabinets were oh-so-crooked so my husband & I were extra careful when we got to that step... Even with our being mindful of the potential flaw, the left cabinet on ours is still a bit crooked & we aren't sure how to fix it. Also, I have stubs for nails but when pulling the pieces out of the box I somehow scratched a little of the paint/stain off. This is easily fixable but I wish it wasn't so easily nicked. The good thing is that it has a "distressed" look. Anyways, it only took my husband & I a couple of hours to assemble it... I don't know how anyone could assemble this by themselves. The directions were clear for the most part with a couple of minor errors. I am very happy with this purchase... After spending a couple thousand dollars on a new tv & all the extras we didn't really want to spend alot on the stand. We haven't attached the mount (sold separately) yet but I think its going to look great! I can't wait until our new tv gets delivered next week! [...]

    I really like the stand but my only complaint is that the paint was nicked in a couple of spots. No this is not from the distressed look! On one corner a large section is missing paint. I decided to keep it since it was already out of the box and did not want to go through the hassle of sending it back.

      My components would only fit without the hinges attached which brings me to the biggest issue with this as well as with most non-real wood furniture. If you take screws out of the wood and try to put them back in they run a risk of boring out the holes so it will not re-attach. This would not be as big an issue if the components would fit with the hinges attached. The hinges are big on the inside.

      Purchased this as a stand alone piece to accent 58 inch wall mounted plasma. Has more than enough storage for audio and video components. Not very difficult to assemble, however I suggest you take your time (did it by myself in about 2 hours). All pieces are numbered, just follow the script. Only drawback is surface is easily scratched, nothing a black marker won't fix.

      assembel instructions are not the best had to keep going back to other pages to see how it fit also from doing funture like this before I found it better to attach the hinges to the doors 1st then attach them to the unitwhen it was done this way took us about 2 minutes to adjust much easyer tha way instructions tell you to do it

            Overall, this is a nice piece of furniture when taking into account the price.

            The setup was fairly easy. From start to finish it took roughly an hour and half. The most difficult part is leveling the two cabinet doors.

            If given the chance I'd buy this product again, without hesitation.

            This is a wonderful piece of furniture. Looks great in my living room. I purchased this stand because I loved the look, it could withstand the weight of the new 58" plasma TV I had just bought, and it was affordable. It shipped quickly, and I'm very happy with this purchase. It did take quite a while to assemble as the wood pieces are not labled and you have to pretty much go off of looking at the pictures on the instructions. Other than that it's great!

              I was looking for something sturdy, something that i would not be replacing anytime soon. That exactly what I got! I love the distressed look of the TV stand. I have a 42" flat screen sitting on top of it and it looks wonderful. I have more than enough room for my DVR, PS3, tuner, DVD, and VCR. I would recommend this product to anyone looking to buy a TV stand on a budget. It is very well made, and looks fabulous!
