Named for its commanding presence, the Empire Buffet is as intricately detailed as the period it represents. Joined by symmetrical, curved front moldings, a pair of hand-finished, double door chests rest side by side on a shared maple hardwood frame. The warm Terra stain is painstakingly finished with a combination of warm water splattering and hand-glazing to achieve a mellow, aged character. A nearly two inch thick slab of Dark Emperador marble reinforces the vintage feel. Upper drawers are accented with door-knocker pulls, a silver liner and keyhole detail.
