        The price was good, [...] but when I got it you needed another person to set up and a special screwdriver. I had to pay my super already to get it into my apt. in NY, then had to special order the screwdriver as no hardware store had it in my neighborhood, so spent more than I wanted, and could have one delivered already together. Plus it is really not ebony, more washed black looking, so does not match. However now that it is together I will keep, and the drawers pull out nice, just wish they were deeper and the handles were supposed to be silver not antique bronze so it really does not match. Overall I was really disappointed.

          Bought for use in an extra bedroom. Finish is nice, assembly was pretty easy, it did take about 1.5-2hrs, just a lot of parts.

          This is "petite" which I was looking for in a smaller guest room.

          Fit and finish are nice, everything lined up as it should. I would like to see the middle support (horizontal board) finished on one end because if you look just right you can see it behind the drawers. The unfinished wood stands out. You can paint it yourself but thats not the point right!

          Some assembly means a bunch of boards and fasteners, just FYI, which I expected.

          We needed a separate dresser for my husbands work clothes that get dingey. This was a perfect fit and matched our current press wood furniture. We decided to go for press wood as we will be moving within the year and buying all wood. For the time being the price was perfect. I was surprised that the quality and sturdiness was much better then I anticipated for press wood. It is definately more reliable then the furniture we currently have however like all press wood, the finish is susceptible to scratches and peeling. I learned that when assembling you should do so over a sheet so the floor does not scratch it up. One of the peices arrived with the finish peeling off in a corner. I was able to glue it down and since the piece is black, i used a marker to cover up any creases. Overall I am very happy with the dresser, it compliments our room and current furniture and it serves its purpose. I personally would not use in a kids room, I feel presswood would never be strong enough to survive children.
