    I bought this dresser to go with the matching bed and nightstand. I was quite surprised that it turned out to be only about 4 feet high. I have short-statured children, so this is actually a benefit for me since they can reach all the drawers, but I imagine it would be a problem for most. The drawers have plastic drawer glides, and the drawers are really tight, so they stick. I'm hoping over time it loosens up without damaging the pull action long term. This is a decent deal for the money, but it isn't high quality, so if you're looking for a high quality item for a cheap price, don't buy this. The highest quality item in the entire set is the drawer pulls.

    Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

      when I first opened the box I was taken aback by the instruction booklet's size but when I read it,I found it was the best set of instructions I have ever read EXTREMELY EASTY TO FOLLOW and I have put quite a few pieces of furniture together...The quality was excellent and the construction was amazing...Not only would I recommend this piece AND IT LOOKS GREAT but I would recommend all South Shore furniture if the quality was as good as this
