This bed platform is great!!! It looks great and has wonderful storage, my 3 year old loved it!!! I would definitely suggest this to anyone. Also what goes great with it is a mattress in a box, it fits perfectly and is super comfortable.

I actually really like that drawers are stiff,for me it is a plus because this way my 2 y.o. son, who got this cool bed, can't play with them and can't get hurt.And not like we use them all the time - we keep bedding sets there... But i really think if company will make 2 holes for the knobs on each drawer they will work much better. Bed doesn't look cheap, doesn't feel cheap, has enough room for my son, me, my husband and my 6 m.o. baby!!! we all fit there, of course tight, but good enough to show my son how we all love this bed. It's just plain comfortable and looks perfect in the room. [...] So no complains at all, Thanks to South shore and recommend to all others bed-shoppers.

This company is awesome! [...]Drawers do stick a little.But, with a little parrafin wax they're great now. My husband put this together in 1 1/2! I highly recommend this company! They're the greatest!

I purchased this for my 15yr.old daughter. Only took 1 1/2 to put together,Came with extra screws,bolts.Looks very nice.The only beef we have is the drawers don't open easily.We had to rub the slides of the drawers with wax.[...] Excellent company to deal with! Highly reccommend!

This bed was super easy to assemble and took just a couple of hours to put together. The hardest part was attaching the mattress support slats because there are no pre-drilled holes in the slats. Not hard if you have the space to completely flip the bed over but I didn't have that luxury. The drawers don't open/close very easily and aren't the sturdiest but they have a lot of room. I was also surprised when I put the bedding on the mattress and tucked it in, I could see a lot of the platform the mattress sits on, which is brown particle board so it doesn't look very good. I either need to paint the board or, for now, I just untuck the bedspread a little to cover the ugly bottom board. The bed is solid, my 7 year old loves it and it looks really nice in her room.

This is my three year old son's first "big boy bed". He loves it, but of course he did'nt have to put it togeather. Assembly took some time, but in the end my son was very happy and that makes me happy. It came packed very well and was in perfect condition when I opened it. I also purchased the mates bed to go with the headboard, so it came in two boxes. They were quite heavy. The bed is a compressed wood product that is simple to assemble with some time involved. I don't expect the bed to last forever, seeing that its a fiber type board, but its a good choice for rough playing boys and for a room where you could use extra storage, the drawers on the mates bed are great. con: slight glue oder
