Excellent quality if you're looking for a bunk bed on a budget. A few minor (very minor) issues, however: the laminate finish on the top left side of the ladder didn't fit under the ledge of the top of the desk, and was forced back when screwing the ladder to the desk. Some of the pieces require two people to assemble, or the screw heads go right through the boards if a piece falls over. The support rail that goes under the top bunk panels lengthwise was cheap (ours had a knot and cracked in half) - we had to replace it with a 2x2 that required some sawing/sanding to fit (that was only like a $2 repair, so it wasn't a deal breaker).

Requires a great deal of patience and time to assemble - took me about 12 hours for all four pieces of this set, working by myself. Worth it, though. My kids love the set - very comfortable for them.

This bed was purchased for my children. My daughter has a very difficult time with the ladder as it is straight up and down and the plastic steps are very painful to climb. The other thing is that the wood for the bottom bunk wher the casters go is not the same kind of pressed board as the rest of the bed so the casters broke the wood very easily. I tried to install the casters at other parts of the bed and the same results occured. Other than that I LOVE this bed. It would be a wonderful addition to any kids bedroom and if the items mentioned could be modified it would be AMAZING!!!!

great unit. It looks great in the kid's room. The writintg desk gives a fun place to do homework and make drawings. The opposite storage closet keeps clothes, toys and other items tidy and out of sight. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a great bunk bed that will give years or reliable service and enjoyment.

I found this bed to be very attractive. Great design and it looks better in person. I bought this for my kids a few months ago and they love it along with there friends as well. There friends have actually convinced there parents to buy this same set also. It is very sturdy , even when the bed is loaded with kids being kids , jumping around all over it.

Was looking forever for the best bed for my boys and found this. The price was perfect and the item great, but I had some minor difficulty with the bed assembly. Didn't seem to match up as it was supposed but it worked out okay in the end. No regrets!

I ordered these beds for my twin daughters and they love them! It took my friend and I 10 hours to put them together, but it was so worth the time![...] i suggest using a drill..it saved us time putting it together.

I bought this bed for my 4yr olds room. I assembled half of it by myself before my husband got off of work. It was easy. You just have to follow the directions. The caster bed is great. I love the idea that I can separate the two when my children get older. It looks bulky in the pictures so I was worried it wouldn't fit in his room, but it's not as big as it looks. I'm very glad we went w/this bed. Its a great bed and wasn't crazy expensive.

We have only had these bunk beds for a week, but we see many years of use to come. It's attractive and pretty solid. At first I thought, "Ugh, particleboard!", but it's really solid and sturdy. [...] I would recommend having at least two people assemble the different components either in tandem or separately and definitely have at least 2 power screwdrivers. Also, if you have kids, send them away for the day because having to corral them and stop for whatever they need will easily double the amount of time it takes to assemble. Having enough space to assemble is also key. Once you get the hang of the instructions and build your first piece, the rest go together much more quickly. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the pieces and the storage is really a huge plus if you need space. Overall a great product for the price.

Been looking for bunk beds for 8 year old son. Found this site and was very pleased with product. It is exactly as described.
Fits well in medium size bedroom. Good product for the price.
