We got this to replace our 4 y/o's twin bed that was literally falling apart.

Cons - Although it looks like solid wood on the picture, it's actually either MDF or pressboard but still HEAVY! Overall, this set weighs 428 pounds and hard to lift the loft bunk on. Our only problem has been stripping a drawer handle, and getting the loft bunk holes lined up with the desk & bookcase holes. You need 3 types of screwdrivers & a hammer to put it all together. Between 2 people, it took 7-8 hours.

Pros - Directions were semi-clear (numbered parts in diagrams & items lists) and in plain english. The loft bunk even has bolts that hold it in place.

We ordered this online after looking at many many bunks for a few months. The assembly took awhile, but it was good to know that doing it correctly made it sturdy and strong. I love the extra storage shelves and drawers, but wish there were more drawers to the desk space. The fact that the lower bed rolls out is great because things do fall behind and between these cozy areas when you've got small children who like to "hide their treasures."
