      I'm now using this as my home computer desk. It feels sturdy and the instructions were pretty easy to understand. There was a fair amount of assembly to do and I had some difficulty assembling the drawers, but nothing too serious.

      I purchased the desk, hutch, and bookshelf, and while it's possible to do most of the assembly with one person, a second pair of hands helps at certain points, and I really can't recommend assembling all three in one weekend.

      Not sure about when previous purchasers bought, but when I received them, the instructions on all three pieces clearly stated on the front page to contact the manufacturer directly for any damaged parts.

      I have been looking for a desk for almost a year to do school work and business somewhere other than my dining table!!! After shopping around, reading tons of customer reviews, I decided to purchase this desk which seemed to have all the details I needed....good desk space, space for files, office supplies, books, etc. and this was perfect. My daughter built this all by herself with a little help from me in the final stages (she's 120 lbs) as it is really heavy and made of sturdy material. It took her a while, 4 or 5 hours, as the instructions were a little complicated and were not clear on some steps. but she persisted and my desk looks amazing. I have no complaints and recommend this to anyone that needs a desk that does not take up too much space but gives great utility and storage. It arrived in great condition, well packed.
