The changing table came in MANY pieces-some assembly required was an understatement. The front drawers and cabinet door were solid wood, I think, but the rest of the "wood" pieces are particle board and the back side of the table, facing the wall, is equivalent to cardboard. Drawer and sliding shelve tracks are plastic and we had to literally reshape one in the microwave to make the drawer slide properly.

This is an excellent, well-built product, especially for the price. It looks great, the finishes are very nice, and the drawers, shelves and door function well. With the changing table top off it'll be very nice as toddler furniture (especially for a girl, which we will have). Like the other reviewers, I experienced a very long assembly time. It took me about 8 hours total, including setup & clean up (you'll need a lot of space), but I tend to work deliberately so as to avoid mistakes. The instructions are clear and on the whole easy to follow, but there was one typo (the wrong part number written) and one confusing element (a part number for a hole in another part, not marked). However, customer service was very good in clearing up any confusion.

this is my second child and second changing table. I can't believe how much I saved on this wonderful piece of furniture. It is beautiful, sturdy, and has all the extra compartments that are usually lacking in most changing tables. The whole experience from the website, to ordering, [...] was stress free and a pleasure. I would recommend this product to everyone. Assembly was tricky but my husband is handy. One other great option is that the changing table top is removable for future use as a dresser, which is a great option.

This changing table looks very nice and had all the features I wanted for a changing/dresser table. I'm excited to use it later once my 3rd is grown as another piece of furniture since the changing station comes off. Took my husband along time to assemble (lots of parts) and he's very handy.

We just bought this and have been using it for our newborn. It looks great and it is very practical. It came in a million pieces and took about 6 hours to put together - my husband is pretty good at this stuff, but in the end we were happy with it.

The only cons to this product is it takes FOREVER to assemble. Plan to spend 6-7 hrs assembling it, the booklet has 40 STEPS!!! Also, due to the fresh cut wood pieces, you need to take a wet cloth and wipe all the boards clean, and vacuum it because of all the wood dust. Once assembled tho, its beautiful and sturdy. The draws could've been deeper but it's decent. I love the little area for lotion and a diaper depot on the top, esp the slide out shelves too.
