This bed is hard to put together,the instructions are not very clear.once you get it together ,the bed is very comfortable and looks great.I like the extra storage space.It provides good back support without a boxspring.Very good for seniors,as it is easy to get in and out of.

I don't understand why some customers put a negative rating for this product. They say it took two people to assemble this bed for over 4 hours. I hardly think that's the case as I (5'4" female) was able to easily assemble it within 3 hours by myself. The instructions were very clear and simple. It looks great in my room and I couldn't be happier.

We wanted a bed with no head board and drawers. The drawers leave a little to be desired in that they are only 4 inches deep but they hold the extra sheets. They don't slide very smoothly. It serves our purpose and for [$], no one else can beat it and [...].If you have a queen size bed there is no extra room around the edges, which is what I wanted but someone wanting the platform look take note.I am happy with it.

This bed looks great once assembled! It supports our TempurPedic mattress nicely (a very heavy mattress!). It wasn't hard to assemble with two people. The only cons are that some of the pieces came with chipped corners (they did include a brown touch-up marker, which is nice), and the corners are kind of sharp if you brush up against them. (This is easy to do in my tiny Brooklyn apartment.) It would be nice if the product came with corner guards or something to help with this problem. Overall, I'm happy with this product.

[...] Since I live alone the box was too heavy for me to carry so I ended up opening the box and bringing the bed inside piece by piece.I was a bit unsure of what to expect while assembling it since I did read varied reviews about the process...some said it was hard some said easy and I recall reading something about a certain type of screwdriver needed. Assembling it ended up being very easy (I'm a 45 year old female who worked alone) since I took my time and read each step carefully. The only tools I needed were flat and phillips head screwdrivers and a hammer...nothing more! I did find that the diagram in the instruction booklet was off at times which confused me a bit but not enough to throw me off completely. I did have one minor problem trying to separate the metal drawer brackets but after a 3 minute call to the 800 # listed in the instructions I was ready to continue...the customer service agent was extremely helpful and friendly. Total assembly time was aproximately 3 hours.The drawers were easy to assemble as well. I did read one review that mentioned that the drawer did not open all the way because the bed was on carpet. My bed is also on carpet but it is a small piled carpet so the drawers have no problems opening all the way. The base of the drawer is a little light weight but I think based on some previous negative reviews about that the manufacturer added an addendum to the assembly instructions which adds a support bracket to the bottom of the drawer. I have only had the bed for 3 weeks now but haven't had any problems with the drawers yet...I also made sure I didn't overload the drawers either.Since I was shopping primarily based on price I wasn't expecting to get my hopes up too much with the quality but I have to say I am pleasantly surprised. I don't think I would run out and get another one for my spare room as other reviews mentioned but I would definately recommend this product. You get more than what you pay for, customer service was terrific and it is sturdy.I read each review before I finally ordered the bed, I even read reviews from other websites as I am not too trusting. I really listened to reviews that recommended ways to help with assembly, etc...this could be why I really didn't have any problems. Once assembled one individual recommended putting a rubber mat under the mattress to prevent it from slipping...I followed that advice and my mattress stays in place.[...]Finally, the edges are extremely pointed and I banged myself once causing severe pain lasting about 2 days. This I did read about in other reviews. I have since purchased plastic corner protectors used to protect children when banging into tables, etc. So, far they seem to do the trick. Other than those three things I am happy with the bed and happy with the value vs. price.

we bought this bed for our pre-teen, so she can re-invent herself as many times as she needs to, this bed goes with any color scheme,and decor. [...] Assembly is quite tricky,organize pieces before you start they're vaguely labled. Looks good overall. Quality is questionable!)
