          This holds my 50 inch plasma TV. The TV is a few inches wider on both side than the top shelf, but the TV base is smaller, so it doesn't look too big. Its beautiful! The storage is so big for my dvds that it holds three layers of DVDS. You can store a lot of movies! There are holes int he back for the wires to go through and the cable box fits perfectly in the middle right under the top shelf The whole unit slides easily on the floor. I love this piece of furniture!!! Only small issue is that you do have to spend some time on the doors to line them up properly. But if you keep rereading the directions and doing what they say, you'll understand after, how easy it was afterall. Figure on assembly being a couple of hours. Do it slow, do it right, and its worth it, because it looks great and the price was fabulous!
