This headboard is really made to only fit the platform bed. As other reviewer's said, you have to buy bolts and nuts to attach to a regular bed frame. My bed sits away from the wall so it was very unsteady when I tried to prop myself up to watch tv. I thought it would snap off the back of the bed. My husband propped up a 2 x 4 behind the headboard and it's better. I was only using this headboard until I could buy an upholstered bed and headboard. After that, it will go ...Read complete review

The molding was a pain to put on definitely need a drill and the angle is terrible. Bought the headboard and it doesn't fit snugly, very loose.

          Good product for the price. The color is true to the pictures and I assembled it myself, in about 45 min. It can be screwed into a bed frame (has pre-drilled holes and screws for this) but we just have it standing behind the bed and it has been fine.
