The stand came double boxed and very well packaged, despite this one of the pieces had a 1" chip taken out of it. Luckily it wasn't an area that was visible once assembled so I got away with some glue. A few points to make, the picture online shows a much nicer finish than the actual product you recieve, also the unit like others have already stated is very heavy because in fact it is a composite wood (mashed wood pulp slurry). It would have been nice if the unit were actual hardwood for the price (I recently bought a allen and roth closet organizer for the same price as this stand and it was all hardwood with veiners). The instructions although show clear diagrams don't give any guidance other than pictures which is poor because none of the items come labeled, so your pretty much matching things up while looking at the pictures to see if its the right way, than making a judgement call whether the finished side goes which way. The center drawer leaves little to be desired as the drawer sliders are poorly made and don't operate smoothly, nore close completely right (I spent an hour trying to tweak them to no avail. As far as function and style go the unit performs as it should just wish better products were used for the price. Would be nice if they included a touchup pen as well since there were alot of small but noticeable blemishes since it is composite wood. If you want a low profile stand but nothing high end this is your item, if your expecting a high end piece looks elswhere.

Purchased this stand for a 60" DLP Television. It's perfect for it. The stand is definitely a solid piece of furniture because once it is assembled it is heavy. It is stylish and practical. The only con is cable management. There aren't any clips or openings specifically for the cables to connect the devices this stand will house.
