While I liked the style of the desk I was quite dissapointed when my husband got everything out of the box and set up to install and the top of the desk had a GIANT gash out of the top of it. Since he was already in process of putting it together we didn't feel like putting everything back and getting a replacement. We also received a tv stand from this site which had two gashes out of the top of it plus several dings. I will not be ordering any products from this site in the future. It was obvious that this didn't happen in shipping but came from manufacturer this way.

Used this for my home office. I really need more space, but it's a good medium-sized desk that is much more contemporary looking than so many I saw on-line. My husband built it and it took him 5 hours because there were SO many parts. But I'm really enjoying it now and for the low price, I couldn't find anything better on-line. Also, many desks are only 4' long and this one is 5' long, which was what I wanted. The drawers don't line up perfectly and one sticks, but good value overall and I would recommend this for a home office desk.

Bought this for my high schooler and she loves it. Very sturdy with great fit and finish. Be prepared, it has a lot of pieces, but the instructions are very clear and the hardward is top notch. Went together easily, everything fit nicely, not like some of those other cheaper desks. Truthfully, this desk is better than I had expected, I am so glad I decided to get it. I would highly recommend this desk.

It wasn't the quickest to assemble but directions were good so just have patience. The drawers are a little rougher slide than I'd like but liveable. It looks great. Don't love the feel of it. More MDF'y than I'd like but for the price, I can't complain.

I purchased the Sauder Stockbridge Executive Trestle desk a few weeks ago and just opened the box last night. I was remodeling a room and just fininshed, so I was ready to build and put in the desk. Upon opening the box, I found the top shelf of the desk, which runs close to 61", broken in half, rendering it completely useless. I have to call CYMAX and see about having another shipped out to me, or if I can just get the whole top shelf shipped. I see why it broke, it's made completely of particle board. Had I known this, I would have probably skipped on the purchase. I bought it, mostly because of the clean design of the table. Too bad I couldn't use it. I'm going to call customer service and see what they tell me. Stayed tuned for a follow-up rating. I hope it's a good one.

I love the design. File drawers hold more than I thought yet the top drawers are much smaller than I thought. Overall I'm very happy with my purchase and would recommend to others. Assembly was average - there are a lot of pieces but the instructions are clear.
