      The unit is sturdy, functional and looks just like it does in the picture. For under $200, I cannot complain too loudly. However, I had a number of pieces where there were small chips or scratches in the particle board or covering. I would ask for replacements, but I'd rather just use a black marker to touch up and discard the furniture if I ever move.

      I found the instructions to be a little confusing, particularly with respect to installation of drawer rails. It turns out they would only fit one way. Some particle board parts didn't have a label on them and it wasn't obvious which part letter they corresponded to. It took me in excess of 5 hours to fully assemble the unit.

      The kit was complete and not missing any parts. I would suggest a power screwdriver (even though the instructions specify not to use a power drill.) and a pneumatic powered brad driver (18 gauge 3/4" brads) to affix the back panel. You can use the provided screws, but you'll likely harm your fingers.

        This was my fifteenth purchase of a Sauder piece of furniture and I will always turn to this quality for both home and office. I found it easy to build since I have put together so many of their products with the hidden cams and am always amazed that no parts are ever missing [extras included], and everything matches up. I have more on order as I type.
