  • This office multimedia file cabinet is all business and features heavy-gauge steel construction and high quality drawer glides for smooth, quiet operation. No cabinet or drawer configurations to figure out means you can mix media material in any of the slots, and when the cabinet reaches capacity, simply stack another 4-drawer cabinet on top. Each 6" high drawer contains six 10-slot molded poly media trays (patent pending) that hold most types of media. Key lock secures all drawers. Includes chrome handles and label holders. Optional Base raises file 5" off the floor.

      If you're pressed for storage space and don't want flimsy pressboard low-capacity "decorator" units, then these are what you need. These are 18" deep. Another mfgr makes units that are 30" deep, will higher cost to match the extra volume. These steel units are for those who have thousands of items, the consumer stuff won't handle that.

      This cabinet is very well made. The drawers are very sturdy with a smooth glide. The inserts can be remover for larger items such as store bought DVDs and PC supplies. [...] the handles were the only assemble required. I needed help getting it in place because of the weight. This item will last a very long time.
