Only using for about 3 weeks but I don't like the sounds coming from the underside of the chair and the back rest ,it says its rated for 500lbs. I am only 370lbs and the chair is making lots of noise. Also chair is very high in lowest position had to raise desk to accommodate chair.

This chair is very solid feeling it came today I assembled and have been in it about 4 hours.I am a big man six foot two, 370#'s and it doesn't feel unstable at all. But make sure you check your desk height measurement I had to uninstall keyboard drawer from under desk to get my legs back under the desk, it is a very tall that is the seat height from the floor is high make sure you check your desk before you buy.

I looked for a 'big & tall' chair for a long time and checked out many alternatives. I found this site and decided to give it a try. [...]. Having been quoted prices for other chairs in $1000+ range I was pleasantly surprised by the Cymax offer. When my chair arrived I found that it was VERY easy to assemble - 4 screws to mount the back to the seat and take it for a test sit. This is the first adjustable chair that I ever tried where the highest setting was too high for me.. and sitting down on it without a wobble or feeling that it was going to fold up under me was a new and enjoyable sensation. I still enjoy the feeling of solidity when I first sit down. If I could swing it...I'd use it in the dining room too!! but sometimes you have to give in to a higher power.One suggestion -- buy the arms when you order the chair.
