Bean Bags Buying Guide
Refilling your Bean Bag Chair

When your bean bag chair starts to feel deflated, you don’t have to resign yourself to buying a new one. But yes, there is an art to getting bean bag beans into your chair. It’s not quite as complicated as a Caramilk Bar, so feel free to share this secret with your friends.
Getting the beans into the bag is obviously a concern if this is your first purchase of bean bag stuffing. First, find the zipper, Velcro, or other seal that opens your chair. If your chair is leaking (which is likely if you need bean bag replacement beans) just look for where the white beads are escaping. Often a zipper or Velcro seam creeping open is the culprit when your bean bag chair deflates.
If you select bean bag refills that come in a plastic bag, tip the bag so that one corner of plastic is empty. Cut the tip off the bag and wedge it inside the opening of your bean bag chair. By turning the plastic bag again, you should be able to create a funnel effect and let gravity do the rest. Be sure to secure the bag while you’re filling. You don’t want that funnel to start pouring bean bag beans onto your floor!
Getting Enough Bean Bag Beans
Comfort Research offers bean bag stuffing that is 30% recycled material. Add another dimension of green to your bean bag restoration project when you use Popped Polystyrene Bean Bag Fill. 100 liters will fill most medium sized bean bags. These bean bag beans will fit any medium sized bean bag chair.
If you have a large bean bag chair to refill, you can order from Elite Product’s inventory of bean bag stuffing. Choose from two options: you can get two cubes of stuffing or four (the larger your bean bag chair, the more stuffing you will need).
Don’t be disappointed after your efforts by not having enough bean bag beans! If you do the math to determine volume before you purchase, you’ll have added peace of mind when purchasing bean bag refills. If crunching numbers isn’t your thing, try reading any labels left on your bean bag chair and look for any mention of liters or ounces.
Extra Bean Bag Stuffing Tips
Refill your bean bag chair in a dry area with no breeze at all. Any airflow will cause the small, lightweight bean bag beans to fly away. If your bean bag chair is an outdoor one, bring it inside to refill it. See about recruiting some help. It’s much easier to use your bean bag refills with someone else assisting you.
With the tips above, you can be confident that your old bean bag chair doesn’t need to be thrown out. All you need to do is get it some bean bag stuffing and you’ll have your chair’s comfort restored good as new!
Indulge in a little nostalgia when you use bean bag replacement beans and you might have a piece of furniture that delights your family and guests. The environment will thank you for it too!
