Pulaski
Pulaski was founded in 1955 in Pulaski, VA as the Pulaski Veneer and Furniture Company. Starting with simple furniture design, they eventually brought more detailed and finely crafted furniture to the market as their skilled workers became more creative. By the mid-1960s, furniture designers Leonard Eisen and Bernard Wampler expanded their whimsical furniture horizons to include side-projects such as creating nostalgic English phone booths and replicating 18th century furniture like wash stands, and shaving stands. Throughout the years, Pulaski expanded to include casegoods, grandfather clocks and curio cabinets.
Today, Pulaski is synonymous with richly detailed heritage style furniture for the middle and upper ends of the furniture market. Pulaski, now a division of Home Meridian International (who also owns Samuel Lawrence), is still an industry leader in curio cabinets. They own the exclusive license for the Build-a-Bear Workshop furniture line for youth. Always innovative, always keeping up on current trends, Pulaski is sure to have something for nearly everyone.
