This headboard worked out perfectly for us. THe simplistic yet arty & functional style and very good dollar value was exactly what I wanted & couldn't find in stores. My husband is very handy which enabled us to assemble it with relative ease - following the instructions. I was his assistant as in many cases 2 sets of hands was necessary. We also put some wood glue in long runs to ensure the sturdiness that the "pegs" may not have supplied. Also we attached the end of the bedframe to the headboard which also gave additional sturdiness. We are very pleased.

I purchased a King size Headboard it is wonderful I was very very disapointed however when I got everything out of the box and discovered that the botton shelf had not been pre drilled like the others I had to measure and drill holes so everything would line up.

    We were looking for such a headboard for years. It matches our present dressers perfectly. We did drill a hole in the back to accomadate cord for alarm clock. Overall a great value and a great look!!!

      We searched for a king sized headboard for nearly 2 years. We absolutely love this product! It provides ample storage and given its size, is very sturdy, especially with the headboard attached to the bedframe (not included in the instructions). We use this in our master bedroom. The only reason I did not check durable is because we have only had it for 2 weeks.

          Was exactly as described. Easy to assemble. At 85lbs is very sturdy. Used a rubber mallet instead of hammer to put some pieces together. No scratching problems then. Only con was with newer thick mattresses, the base section could be a couple of inches taller.

            I love this headboard! I had a few small problems putting it together, but once I was finished I am really happy with the product. The only bad part is that there are no holes to put wires through in the cubbies.
