    Normally I'm not a big fan of particle board but this unit is sturdy and looks great with the rest of our real wood furniture. As others have stated, it was difficult to find a king-sized bookcase-style wooden headboard and when I found this one, I was a bit skeptical. But now I'm completely happy with result and I feel like I got more than my money's worth. It's 100% worth the price and I would 100% recommend it. Also, I put most of it together by myself fairly easily but it is easier, quicker and safer to have two people put the final parts together.

        This headboard is GREAT!! I did A LOT of shopping around and for the money...you can NOT go wrong with this product! I am very happy with this purchase and VERY happy with the price! It looks great in our bedroom. The only thing I would recommend is that they make the "feet" a little wider...but it's definitely works well the way that it is!

          We needed a bookcase headboard for our king size bed to give us more room in our bedroom and eliminate nightstands, but did not want to spend a fortune. The quality was quite impressive for being so inexpensive. The backboard was thin and cheap, and came broken, but we liked the headboard better without it! The case is very sturdy and thick and we are very pleased with our purchase!

            The only bad thing I can say is that I had to force the frame into the legs of the head board due to the decorative molding, and drill my own holes to attach frame to head board. Maybe it was the frame I bought, not sure. But overall this is a great product for the price. Seems like will last for many years to come.
