    I expected the set to be more sturdy and have amore finishe appearence some of the trim edges should have been finished like the decorative pieces on the bottom of the foot board and the night stands. Some pieces cracked duing assembly.
    This is not a laminate set and has a very thin plastic coating much like vinyl wall paper. Would not hold up well in a childs room. Would not recommend in high humidity areas like Florida or Hawaii and would probably not put it in a basement type room.

    Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
