We cringed when we saw all the pieces, and all the hardware, but... the bed was very easy to assemble. The instructions were very clear. And it goes together with ease. The bed provides lots of extra storage, and a good platform for our memory foam mattress.

We bought this for our daughter's first apartment. Should last her many years. Quite pleased with appearance/stain - cherry. Took 3 men approx. 2 hours to put together. A power screwdriver makes assembly much easier.

So far, this bed is great. Great for storage or, like me, if you want to rid your self of the need to purchase a dresser and because it's a platform,no need for a box spring either. The panels are made of soft pine so I wasn't sure if it would support me. (I'm a 6'1", solid 230 pounder)So far, so good though.

Knowing that this was going to be pre-fab pressboard my expectations weren't the highest, I just needed a bed. When the bed was delivered, [...] there were no instructions and I just rolled my eyes and e-mailed the company's customer support. That's when things turned around. I had a response with a pdf document of the instructions and an apology within the hour, fantastic customer support! It was very easy to put together, having 2 people definitely a plus as some pieces are large and/or awkward. When all was said and done, it was a rather attractive and sturdy piece of furniture.

A good screwdriver will save you time.

Wish the drawers were taller (there is vertical room for it) and it came in more colors.

Bed arrived in three large boxes in about 5 days. Assembly took large parts of two days, but was a pleasure because the components fit together perfectly, and the fasteners are quality hardware. Assembly time is much influenced by the number of drawers, and I'm glad I chose 6 drawers rather than 12.

The bed is solid and heavy enough so that it does not move around, and the drawers work nicely.

We like everything about it, now that assembly is accomplished. Glad to see that prefab furniture does not have to be a mass of chipped wood fibers and bent fasteners.

i needed a new bed and found the cherry double platform, its amazing, not hard to put together, took just over 45 minutes to do it. the storage bins (6) cleaned alot of drawers in the counter. i cleaned out 8 drawers and the 6 held it well, it is comfortable with the matress, makes the room look better, just makes all over all nice, im happy with purchase
