My husband, recently ill, needed a place where we could keep, a telephone, note paper and pen for messages, a glass of water, tissues, and a few nescessities he may need. This unit is small, while large enough for that and it fit perfectly next to his chair. The top serves to hold the items mentioned above,while the shelves help to house the books and newspaper he is reading while the second self holds reference materials and a laptop if needed.
It was a perfect wall unit for him, because now he has recovered enough to be able to reach and use the items easily. When it is no longer needed it can serve for a college dorm or some smaller area! Small units for smaller homes and apartments are very difficult to find. We were thrilled to have found this unit, and in MAPLE!
I had looked earlier and could find nothing. This time I was very fortunate!
