I really like the look and function of this media cabinet. It has served our DVD storage needs nicely. I have just orded a second cabinet. Assembly is straight forward; especially if you have experience assembling other mass-produced furniture (book shelf, media cabinets, etc.) that use a cam-lock type system. The external finish matches other furniture and looks nice. I needed a replacement shelf, as one was damaged when received, and I received one from Prepac just days after calling! The only drawback is the internal support that runs vertically down the inside of the unit. This support obstructs easy access to the mechanism that keeps the left door closed. This drawback can be minimized by not fully loading the top shelf and therefore should not be a large factor in terms of purchasing.

I really like the DVD case, the only problem is that the assemble instructions could be much better, sometimes the pictures are not completely clear and found one error on them.

Unit is very functional and stores CDS, VHS and DVDs with adjustible shelves. Unit is very sturdy and attractive. Only drawback is that directions are poor and one can end up assemblying the unit the wrong way if not looking at the illustrations real close. Each part should have a part number marked on it and up or down arrows with match marks to aid in installation

The cabinet looks nice though the cherry finish is easy to break off if it is bumped etc. during put together so handle it with kid gloves.
The screws were too big, or stripped, for the holes on the top so I had to put in three of my own so it would stay together.
The design flaw I find most odd is that if you plan to store DVDs in it the side flip out shelves can't have three rows of cases on top of each other. On one shelf they will have to go sideways. There is enough room, but the pre-placed bracing shelf messes up the spacing for the ones below it. If it had been one inch higher I would been more pleased with this product.

This media storage unit was not difficult to build. However, I do wish it was a darker cherry to go better with the older Magnavox stereo cabinet I have, but I think I can stain it to match. It's great for storing my DVDs and videos. And it locks!

This is a very nice cabinet. I was really surprised at the amount of space. I thought I would not have enough space for my CD's now I need to buy more CD's to fill it up!

Our family keeps our cd's in this storage cabinet. It is very practical, useful, and I love the way it looks in our bedroom.
