This DVD storage shelf looks fabulous in my office. Just enough storage for my dvd's. I love it. I love just walking by looking at it. Great purchase.

My husband has difficulty finding his CD's because of vision problems. This cabinet allows his collection to be all together and at eye level.

Two of these work behind our front door just barely. We have two triple units on other side after you enter door and in entrance hall. We don't use front door so this works great and out of the way but looks decent enough. We can if need be remove them to bring in say furniture through the front door. Don't expect to though. We will put curtains over each section so two for each of these and three per the triples or 10 all together. To prevent dust and UV damage. I do a lot of work with uhpolstery fabrics and could if I choose to embroidery a design onto each section too such as pinecone art or Moose or deer etc. keeping it simple and together. Otherwise I've got a nice green fabric picked out that by itself and no design will look good as is. These two unit shelfs didn't always fit as well together as both of the triples. Not sure why the slop but sometimes you might need to shave off the back just a wee bit etc. These shelves are adustable and we took then one shelf out to use mostly for our DVD's. One smaller unit here will hold most of our CD collection and so it has all it's shelves left in. We made some spacers out of wood so not to loose CD's behind the sides that some complain about. Also you could just put 2-3 blank cases on each end to do the same thing. After we bought this unit and the triple it wasn't enough so we splurged and got two more to match and placed them 8.5 inches below the first pair. So we get another shelf to use...could even put books or other items there. We had some room left over at the bottom so we can clean easily under them too. But had room to make the space even wider for say our collection of outdoor and wildflower ID books we get out each year. But choose to keep these for DVD use primarily and CD's. Lots of creative approaches and things you could do with these units. Childrens rooms and teenagers could use and like I say shallow book cases they would be great. For the money in comparison to similar these aren't solid wood but they are decent and usable. Tweak if need be. Oh and if you have a scratch in the wood try furniture crayons to match or even shoe polish is an idea. As black also works to hide black scratches as one guy complained. [...]

We ordered this 2 section unit & matching 3 section unit at the same time. But we have too many DVD's to fit in those along with the CD collections too. So ordering one more of each today. We'll put those under the ones already hung as close to ceiling as our molding trim would allow. I would have loved to have a 4 foot floor unit or longer wall unit that matches the three section item but they don't make them. Instead they have 56 & 57 inch wide floor and wall units and 40 inch wide floor and wall too. So wouldn't sit nicely under these already. Four foot wide is perfect for area or it gets too close to a heat register. And a floor or longer wall unit with 3 sections would have been ideal. We finally gave in and ordered two more of these. I'll make curtain panels to hang down over each section to protect items from UV and dust both. The shelves do adjust but they don't make that clear. We aren't using the higher shelves when putting in DVD's. One unit will be for CD's only the other three hold DVDs with a little room for growth.

The only negative comment I could give is that the screw pilot holes should be countersunk and possibly one drill size smaller. I used a countersink and the assembly tightened up quite a bit. Other than that I'm am very pleased with the product.
