Nothing on the website indicated that this product needed assembly, so that was a surprise! There were hardware issues--missing parts & cams that did not fit in the intended slots. The chest is very attractive and I think it's a good value.

I purchased this chest to match the platform bed I also purchased. Assembly was time consuming, but the instructions were very good. Despite the instructions, I inserted cams only as they were needed. They easily fall out of the holes and there are no extras. The only problems were 3 of the 10 drawer knobs. One was missing a screw, and two could not be completely tightened as the threaded holes weren't deep enough. I was able to find a screw that worked for the missing one and used washers under the other screws so they could be tightened. Very poor quality control by Cymax knob supplier Richelieu.

I made this in half-a-day, and am extremely pleased with the result. I'm a 78 year-old female with arthritis, so I think anyone could assemble it. The diagrams are very clear. I needed extra storage space, and this gives me a lot for the money, and it looks good.

The 5 drawer dresser looks great and has lots of room. Only problem was that one of the parts didn't fit right. But I had no trouble with customer service and they sent a replacement right out. Now everything is fine. I would still buy again.

Good dresser. The drawer gliders seem fairly sturdy (old dresser gliders all broke, hence the replacement, so this was an important factor in choosing this dresser). The drawers are a little bit on the small side but they are wider than my old dresser so it evens out, and the finish is pretty too.
No information about assembly- a guy friend put the entire dresser together for me!

I bought this chest to complete the set I purchased before. The quality is consistent with other furniture of this price range. Not the best materials, but much cheaper than other chests. You get what you pay for. Just make sure you use plenty of high quality wood glue when assembling the chest. Use the glue everywhere it won't be seen. I would not recommend this piece for a kid's room. An adult that won't abuse furniture is best suited to own this. If you're cautious with it, the chest of drawers should last a while. The instructions were easy enough to understand, and all the additional parts where there. Make sure to inspect the packages for any and all damage PRIOR to opening them. Make a note to the delivery person if there is any dents or gouges in the boxes. Take some pictures as well. Better safe than sorry. Overall, this is a pretty good buy for the money.

We bought this furniture for our small guest bedroom. It is the perfect size for this room and looks great. I would recommend this product to friends and family!

Overall i like the product. The instructions were easy to follow to setup the dresser. My only main problem was that the corners on the veneer can get damaged very easily sliding on the rug to assemble but that is more my problem. For the cost the product looks nice and has does its job.
