This Headboard is nice, but sadly does not cradle the bed frame properly, so one side of the bed fits inside the frame of the headboard but the other peeks out.

It would be easier if the parts were labled, but it came together well. I love the look. Perfect for my son's room.

It was an intensive project to assemble this piece of furniture but not impossible by any means. I loved the idea of having storage space to take advantage of every inch of my small Brooklyn apartment, so it was unfortunate when I realized that almost of a foot of wasted space would be eaten up by a hollow space in the back of the bookshelf headboard. It probably wouldn't have been a big deal if I didn't have a door that would be disabled if my bed jutted out another foot. Instead, I turned the headrest around and performed a bit of a hack so that the bed could fit under the shelf of the bookshelf. It means I lose several inches of the bed under the bookshelf, but I'm pretty short. I can also slide the bed out away from the headrest if a taller person is using the bed - they just won't have access to the door. It's not a perfect solution but it seems to be working under the tight space conditions.

Purchased this to go with the 12 drawer platform bed. Headboard assembly took some time to complete, and if you don't read carefully is easy to assemble incorrectly. After assembling, couldn't see a way to attach to the bed, so it is propped up by the bed in the room. Weird. As it is laminate, we will have to see if it holds up to the teen using it!

For the money it was a good deal. The one thing I didn't like was how the black coating can peel off. The top of the headboard bulged and cracked a bit when it was put together.

The headboard is awesome! Good quality for the price. The only thing I'm not a fan of is the fact that the bedboard and the frame don't completely match up so if I wanted to attach them I'd have to do some work to get it done.
